Camping is a great way for everyone to have a great time. From the age of a toddler to an elderly person; that can enjoy just laying around in his chez lounge. It’s a time for people to take a vacation any time of the year from spring, summer, fall or winter. It can be enjoyed all year long depending on the type of person you are and the weather you enjoy the most! In my eyes, my favorite time. I think summer is the most popular time of the year. Most people choose this time of the year because it is the weather that you can enjoy the most activities that can be done in the warm to hot weather.
There are a lot of fun things to do camping no matter what the season of the year you decide to do it. Just depends on the person because everyone is different and enjoy doing different things. I believe summer is the time a majority of people enjoy going camping because there are so many things you can do from the time the sun comes up until it’s time to climb into your tent and curl up in your sleeping bag and get a great peaceful night’s sleep. Unless you like to sleep out under the stars. Camping in the summer you may like to get up early and head down to the lake for a swim. And bring a bar of soap so you can remove the dust or even the smell of the smoke from the campfire you had the night before. Then you might want to go fishing and I hope you catch some good fish to bring back to your campsite to cook for breakfast on your fire that someone may have lit while you were gone or on your gas stove.
Now that you have a great morning started you probably want to take your kids down to the pond; to do some swimming or play on the beach sand.. If you went with your family. Which we will get into that a lot more because you could have gone camping alone or with family, friends or with a group of people. Depending on how you like camping. As I said earlier it could be in the winter, summer, spring or fall. Any time of the year has different things to do. Spring and summer I find is the best time to go camping because there are so many things for everyone to do for all ages. Bike riding (whether it is a camp or mountain bike) riding alone or with the kids or in a group we used to play a game called jarts That got dangerous sometimes because they had metal tips but now they make them with rubber tips for safety.
Campsites usually come with a picnic table that you can play card games or many other games if you feel like relaxing and sitting around doing something like that.. But there are still a lot of other games that kids can play at a campsite. As we all know kids can find in most any games they play; or they will make up games to have fun. And they will make them fun because that’s how kids are ; they can have fun doing mostly anything. Eating can be enjoyable camping too; it’s just different than eating at home. And if you have had your breakfast you may feel like heading down to the beach; with a canoe or some floats for the kids to play in the water with while you might want to cruise around in your canoe and find the best place to fish. You may even find some weedy spots and find some bass hiding. Whatever you decide to do camping can be fun for all and has plenty of things for you to do!
